Increasingly, trademark owners are interested in monitoring only specific jurisdictions. We understand that your time is valuable and strive to create custom packages that allow you to maximize your time and manage your resources in an efficient manner. You can create your own regional or country groupings to ensure that you receive reports only from these jurisdictions.
The customized service can be filtered down by each of your trademark subscriptions and does not need to apply uniformly to your entire portfolio of trademarks.
The Color Watch alerts you to applications published in a specific color. Subscribers can watch individual colors, or applications filed in up to three colors. The service can alert you to any record published in the covered color, or, if a more focused watch is required, to a specific product and color such as “red shoes”. Approximately 80% of the jurisdictions covered by our International Watch currently publish applications in color and are covered by the service.
We recognize the economic importance of jurisdictions that publish trademarks in Chinese characters and have committed to processing these in an unparalleled manner vis-à-vis our competitors. Almost 40% of all annual global trademark applications come from China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore and Macao. We have a large in-house team of native Chinese speakers who are also fluent in English. Our team carefully and meticulously translates, transliterates and reviews Chinese character marks so that no nuance is missed when reviewing these against your Latin character and Chinese character trademark subscriptions.
Our Chinese Character Watch, when ordered, is included in our basic International Trademark Watch pricing. We do not, like some other services, charge an additional fee for this service.
The U.S. Trademark Combined Watch is designed for those who are interested in having only the U.S. monitored while ensuring that both pre-publication filings and applications published for opposition purposes are covered.
The U.S. Early Alert service alerts subscribers to U.S. trademark filings before they are published for opposition purposes.
Given the short opposition term in the U.S., this service permits subscribers more time to take action of an objectionable filing and potentially resolve the issue before the application is published for opposition purposes.
The U.S. State Trademark Watch alerts you of trademarks published in individual U.S. States. Approximately 28 States are covered.
